Fitness is a common goal starting out the new year and the Warrensburg Community Center is offering an incentive for our listeners families. This incentive is a 13 week challenge beginning January 12th and wrapping up on April 10th.

Each week Warrensburg Parks and Recreation (WPR) will send your family an email with a fitness and nutrition challenge for that week. If your family completes the challenge your families name will be entered into the grand prize drawing that will take place at the end of the event. So, the more challenges your family successfully completes, the more chances you will have to win.

The Fit Family Challenge will start with a kickoff at the Warrensburg Community Center on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 6p.m. This is an optional event and your family can still participate in the fitness challenge if you decide not to attend the kickoff. However, attending the kickoff puts an additional entry for your family into the drawing.

The cost for the entire 13 week challenge is just $10 per family.

You must preregister for the kickoff event and for the challenge itself. You can do so by contacting Jayme Gee at [email protected] or by stopping by the Warrensburg Community Center at 445 E. Gay Street or calling them at (660) 747-7178.
