JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) – A group of five Missouri Lottery players will share a $4.1 million jackpot they won in a Jan. 22 drawing.
Lottery officials announced Friday that the jackpot was claimed by Deborah King of Independence. She will share the prize with Cherlyn Harding, Robin Williams and Randy Harding, all of Independence; and Ruth Waldron of Neosho.
The winners opted for the cash option, which means they will split $2.75 million before taxes.
The winning $1 ticket was purchased at a Price Chopper in Independence. The store will receive $42,000 for selling the winning ticket.
