Hofstetter says the levees crews have worked to secure are holding and looking good.
The Missouri River has dropped enough that the tops of some levees are starting to dry out.
The weather forecast calls for a chance of rain both locally and upstream in the Dakotas, but at this point total accumulation is expected to be on the low side.
