KMZU’s Mike Stone spoke with Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 944 President Dyle Wilson about this year’s Fly In Drive In Breakfast Event.
The Breakfast Fley-In and Drive-In will be on Saturday, August 23rd. The breakfast starts at 7:00 a.m.and goes through 10:00 a.m. The menu consists of pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee. The cost is $4.00 for adults, $3.00 for kids ages 5-12 and free for kids 5 and under.
there will be free Young Eagle Rides given to kids ages 8-17 and a parent or legal guardian MUST be present to sign a release form for children to take a free airplane ride. According to Dyle Wilson, this has been the first time some kids have ever been in an airplane.
There will be lunch served by Wabash BBQ and the public can bring their own lawn chairs and watch the Static Airplane Display. This is mainly remote control aircraft.
All the fun will take place at the Chillicothe Municipal Airport which is located 3 miles east of Highway 36.
