The Carroll County Food Pantry is having an extra “food drop” in Carrollton Wednesday afternoon. Click to hear KMZU’s Chelsea Wade talk with Vice President Christina Chapman:
“Our organization typically serves between 175 and 200 families each month,” Chapman said. “We are asking the community to come back out again. We do a food drop on the third Wednesday of every month. We were lucky enough to be scheduled for a second drop this month, which I feel helps the community and lets them know we are here for them.”
The food pantry will start handing out donations at 2:30 p.m. at the old Shriner’s building, which is located at 907 South Main Street in Carrollton.
