A guilty plea was entered in the case of a former Carrollton man on Wednesday.  According to online court documents, Christopher Clift, 37, was originally charged with one count each of alleged felony theft or stealing and alleged felony tampering with computer equipment, system or network causing $1,000 or more in damages.

In a plea deal with prosecutors, Clift plead guilty to the tampering charge which was reduced to a misdemeanor count while the alleged theft/stealing charge was dropped. Clift was ordered to pay a fine and court costs.
