PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. — A multi-vehicle crash in Pettis County Tuesday morning resulted in injuries for three people.

According to an accident report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on U.S. 50 Highway at Westwood Drive in Pettis County around 7:50 a.m. Tuesday.

A tractor-trailer operated by 61-year-old Vienna, Mo. resident Michael S. Noblett was traveling east on 50 when he overtook and struck a vehicle driven by 50-year-old Cathy J. Holloway, of Sedalia, in its rear, causing Holloway to strike a third vehicle, driven by 34-year-old Jefferson City resident Stephanie J. Morey.

Morey’s vehicle was then pushed into the rear of a fourth vehicle, operated by 76-year-old Glen V. Adams.

Holloway and Morey both sustained moderate injuries and were taken by ambulance to Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia for care. A passenger in Adams’ vehicle, 76-year-old Linda J. Adams, received minor injuries and sought treatment on her own.
