SALINE COUNTY, Mo. — A crash in Saline County sent four people to an area hospital early Sunday.
According to the Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at approximately 5:30 a.m. Sunday on I-70 westbound at the 65 mile marker in Saline County.
A vehicle operated by 39-year-old Kansas City resident Channing P. Payne ran off the left side of the interstate before returning to the roadway and overturning.
The vehicle then continued to travel off the right side of the road. Payne and two other occupants in the vehicle, Willie J. Holmes, of Chicago, Illinois and 39-year-old Ora L. Holmes, also of Kansas City, sustained moderate injuries.
A fourth person, 12-year-old Anyiah L. Troutman, 12, of Chicago, received minor injuries. All four were taken to I-70 Medical Center to be treated.
