A two vehicle crash injured three St. Joseph residents and an Osborn man Thursday morning in DeKalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a vehicle driven by Roger Gaiser, 60, of Osborn, was southbound on Highway 33 when he crossed Highway 36. Gaiser was then struck by an eastbound vehicle driven by Janene Parton, 39, of St. Joseph. The vehicles came to rest in a field following the collision.
Gaiser suffered moderate injuries, while Parton was seriously injured. Her passengers, Christina Parton, 5, and Sarah Parton, 5, both of St. Joseph, sustained minor injuries.
All four were transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The crash occurred a few minutes before 7 a.m.
