COLE COUNTY, Mo. — Four people were injured in a crash in Cole County this morning that required air ambulance for two.
Just before 8:00 a.m., Elmer Kiesling, 85, of Jefferson City, was traveling westbound on Route C east of North Moreau Creek Bridge when he crossed the center of the roadway attempting to negotiate a curve. He struck a vehicle driven by 50-year-old Sally Wright, of Eugene, who was transporting two other individuals, William Williams, 21, of Russellville, and Eugene resident Bethany Crow, 26.
Williams and Kiesling were transported by Staff for Life Air Ambulance to University Hospital for their serious injuries. Wright received serious injuries as well, and she and Crow were transported by ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital. Crow’s injuries were listed as minor.
All four were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.
