HENRY COUNTY, Mo. — One person was injured in a four-car accident Monday morning.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, troopers were summoned to South Missouri 13 Highway at the Grand River Bridge in Henry County at 7 a.m..
Upon arrival, they discovered that the crash occurred as a vehicle driven by a Clinton resident, Rickie Ryces, 65, pulled out in front of and struck a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Zachary Jarman, of Humansville. A freightliner driven by 61-year-old Stephen Roberts, of Nixa, attempted to avoid the vehicles in the roadway, but in doing so, ended up striking both Jarman’s vehicle and another driven by El Dorado Springs resident Lindsey Daniel, 23.
Roberts received moderate injuries and was the only person involved to report injuries. He was transported to Golden Valley Hospital for treatment.
