The Care Connection of Warrensburg will hold a series of classes to certify volunteers in Medicaid and insurance coverage options so they can assist residents with any questions they may have, or assist with forms and other administrative necessities. Community Leaders Assisting the Insured of Missouri, or C.L.A.I.M. and Care Connection for Aging Services in Warrensburg are looking for area volunteers for their health insurance assistance program. Director of Special Projects, Rona McNally says they are seeking certain individuals.

There are also requirements of continuing education to keep skills current. Care Connection will offer quarterly updates for program changes and additional knowledge of Insurance Coverage. Rona McNally, says classes start soon.

Volunteers Needed for Health Insurance Assistance Program

Care Connection for Aging Services will host training sessions for volunteers interested in learning about Medicare benefits and using that knowledge to help others.

The training sessions are for volunteers for CLAIM – Community Leaders Assisting the Insured of Missouri – a program that provides provide free, unbiased information to help Medicare beneficiaries make informed healthcare decisions.

Applications are being accepted for new CLAIM volunteers. The training will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 22, 29, 30 and Aug. 12 in the Care Connection office, 106 W. Young, Warrensburg.
