FAYETTE — Frontline workers will be recognized for their efforts against COVID-19 at Fayette’s Downtown Christmas parade at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. Faculty and staff of the Fayette school district will represent those workers as the parade grand marshals. More than 15 entries, including lighted floats, are scheduled, but additional entries are welcome, according to the Fayette Main Street, Inc. flyer.

Immediately after, Santa Claus Santa will hear children’s wishes through plexiglass at the square’s gazebo.

Parade-goers are encouraged to wear masks and to social distance at the event.
