MARSHALL, Mo. — A meeting of the Marshall City Council is scheduled to take place Monday evening.
An agenda indicates reports will be heard from multiple city committees, including the community development and code committee as well as the municipal services and personnel committee.
The city administrator and mayor will then give reports to the full council before discussion and follow-up is considered for slurry seal bids.
A resolution will be considered to adopt the ICMA Retirement Corporations deferred compensation plan for city employees before ordinances are discussed.
Contracts between the city, Board of Public Works and three companies – Central Electric Power Cooperative, Lutz, Daily & Brain, LLC and Utility Safety & Design, Inc. will receive second readings.
Council will also consider the establishment of a procedure for disclosure of potential conflicts of interest regarding city matters.
Other business will be brought forward before the Council adjourns to a closed session.
The Marshall City Council is slated to meet at the Marshall City Office Building at 6:00 p.m. Monday.
