JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Missouri farmers interested in marketing their product in a retail setting have the opportunity to get funding from the Missouri Department of Agriculture.

According to a news release, the Missouri Department of Agriculture is providing cost-share assistance to producers wanting to put the Missouri Grown logo on their products. Anticipated costs for this include graphic design expenses for incorporating the “Missouri Grown” logo, product labels, printed boxes, printed product packaging, PLU labels, and “Missouri Grown” logo stickers to place on existing packaging inventory.

$50,000 is available and will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Proper documentation is needed by May 1, 2018 to be considered.
