Some Missouri farmers are now eligible to receive Market Facilitation Program payments for the second half of 2018 production.

According to USDA, the president directed Agriculture Secretary, Sonny Perdue to launch the second round of TMP’s which are meant to assist farmers suffering from “unjustified trade retaliation” by foreign nations. That is according to a press release Monday.

Producers only need to sign up once to be eligible for both the first and second payments. An application must be completed by January 15, but have until May 1 to certify production.
