DAVIESS COUNTY, Mo. — A teen was injured in a one-car accident in Daviess County Monday morning. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a female, 16, from Gallatin was driving a Ford Ranger on Highway CC, about five miles southwest of Gallatin when she lost control due to snow and ice on the roadway. The accident occurred at 9:20 a.m. Monday when her vehicle travelled off the west side of the roadway, struck a culvert, became airborne, struck a utility pole and a tree before overturning. The  truck came to rest on its driver’s side, facing west. The teenager was transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center by Daviess County EMS with moderate injuries.
