OMAHA, Neb. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is expected to lower the outflow at Gavins Point on Thursday, June 27.
The dam is currently releasing water at 75,000 cubic feet per second. Mike Swenson with the Omaha office of the Corps said Friday, that the output will be reduced by 5,000 cubic feet per second into the month of July.
Little benefit is expected due to recent rainfall and the number of levee’s already breached along the Missouri River.
