Two brief sessions will precede the Green Hills Community Action Agency Board meeting Tuesday evening. Click to hear KMZU’s Bob Allen talk with Green Hills Community Action Agency Acting Co-CEO Terri Henderson:
Henderson says the personnel and governance committees will meet before the governing body gathers to handle monthly business. The personnel is meeting to discuss the process of filling the CEO position permanently. Henderson is unsure how long that will take, but the committee is entering into the early phases of hiring for the role.
The governance committee plans to examine the agency’s by-laws and vacancies on the governing board.
The board will also continue work on the Fiscal Year 2012 budget. Henderson says the numbers are surprisingly good considering expected shortfall in federal funding.
The board meeting begins at 7:00 at the Green Hills Community Action Agency’s main office in Trenton.
