The Green Hills Community Action Agency is auctioning off some of its property on September 21st. Click to hear KMZU’s Bob Allen talk with GHCAA Acting CEO Terri Henderson:

Terri Henderson

Henderson says brick buildings in Milan and Gallatin are on the block. The two structures were formerly offices of the agency before cuts in funding forced their closure. According to Henderson, the organization doesn’t want to see the buildings vacant and will pursue leasing them out if they are not sold at the minimum reserve price. The Milan building located on the northwest corner of the square will be auctioned off at 1:00 and the Gallatin building at the intersection of Clay and Jackson will be sold at 6:00.

Henderson adds that she hopes the GHCAA will reopen offices in these areas in the near future.

Parties interested in inspecting either of the facilities can schedule and appointment by calling GHCAA at (660) 395-3907 ext. 1022.
