If you want to step back in time then you should consider heading to the battle of Lexington historic site this afternoon (sat) for Victorian Tea.  Visitors will get to enjoy tea and desserts that were popular in the mid-1800s. This event will take place from 1-4 p.m.

The public is invited to enjoy a Victorian Tea Saturday, June 21 from 1- 4 p.m. at the Anderson House at the Battle of Lexington State Historic Site. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, guests can enjoy tea and desserts from the mid-1800s. The event will also include a display of quilts on the second floor, showing quilts through the years including some reproductions of Civil War era quilts. The quilts on display were all pieced and quilted by the same individual.
