The Golden Valley Door of Hope is holding the Inaugural Color of Hope Color Run 5k on Saturday, June 6th.
The Golden Valley Door of Hope is an organization offering a range of services including counseling, parental guidance and medical services. Center Director for Golden Valley Door of Hope Melony Mills, says these medical services are limited, but can be crucial.
Among these medical services are those for expecting mothers. Mills says this assistance can often be delayed by other healthcare agencies, becoming even more important for patients.
With the essential nature of the help Golden Valley Door of Hope provides, retaining funding is equally important. The Inaugural Color of Hope Color Run event provides the organization with that opportunity.
Mills says the event has something for all ages, from a 5k run/walk, to face painting, colored balloons and concessions.
The Color of Hope 5k Color Run is Saturday, June 6th at Artesian Park in Clinton. Registration is required, along with a $25 fee for adults and $15 for children. Registration will continue through the day of the event.
