Saline County flood prevention is getting another boost Tuesday. Click to hear KMZU’s Bob Allen’s Talk with Saline County Presiding Commissioner Tom Stallings:
Stallings says State Emergency Management has provided an automated sandbagging machine to aid in efforts to stem the rising waters. He explains that much of the focus has been on the western part of the county. According to Stallings, the eastern levees around Miami are built higher to handle water that may come from the Grand River.
On behalf of Saline County landowners and levee districts, Stalling would like to thank those volunteers who have aided the prevention efforts.
