“We are continuing processing regular one time payment applications through March 31st,” Kim Brashear.

Brashear says at the beginning of each season the state gives their agency a set amount of money to help people who have shut off notices, or, begin to run low on propane.  Once that fund is depleted there is no more to draw from until the following season.  The agency is still taking applications for one time payments for energy assistance.  Those payments will be made directly from Jefferson City. Persons interested in making application for the one time payment may access information at the agency’s web site  Inquiries may also be made via telephone (855) 290-8544 option #1.
