A Republic resident plead guilty in Federal Court Tuesday, to stealing guns from a pawn shop in 2012. According to the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, Michael Cameron Heston, 26, pleaded guilty to the theft of 21 handguns from the Ozark Mo. pawn shop. Co-defendant Daryl B. Maples, 28, has pleaded guilty to the same charge. The two men admitted to the break-in at Sutton Gun and Pawn and stealing the guns and ammunition. The men face up to 10 years in federal prison without parole plus a fine up to $250,000.oo dollars during sentencing at a later hearing.
