ANDREW COUNTY, Mo. – A misdemeanor warrant led to several felony allegations in Andrew County Thursday night. When the Missouri Highway Patrol took James M. Ames, 24, of Bethany into custody on a Buchanan County warrant for driving while suspended or revoked, he was allegedly in possession of firearms and drugs. Ames is being held for felony accusations of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon and stealing. There is also a misdemeanor allegation of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
