Crowder State Park will be hosting Halloween Night Hikes on Friday, Oct. 31. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the event will be held at Camp Grand River, the park’s organized group camp. Join the fun with outdoor hikes through the woods. You will also learn about some of the night creatures during the hike. Hikes will begin at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Participants are encouraged to dress warmly and wear comfortable shoes. The hikes are approximately a half of a mile long and will last around 45 min. At 8 p.m., guests can enjoy an outdoor showing of the movie “Frankenweenie”. Participants will also have the chance to make a Halloween craft and enjoy snacks from 6-8 p.m. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
