The 3rd Annual ‘Road Kill’ Chili Cook Off will take place at the Hamilton Missouri Methodist Church Saturday night from 6 to 8 pm. “The title for the cook off was invented by the Wednesday Morning Men’s Prayer Breakfast Group as a way to make money for local ministry and missions,” stated Administrative Assistant, Lisa Morris.
There will be prizes for the hottest chili, best tasting chili and some people like to decorate their table, so they have a prize for best presentation. Each chili entry will cost $5 and that covers admission to eat as well. Admission is $5 each, but not to exceed $15 so larger families can also come and enjoy the chili. Votes for the chili are $1 each or 6 for $5.
The Methodist Church will serve chili until its all gone. There will be other foods available like chips, vegetable trays, crackers and desserts. There will be carry-out containers available too.
