car accidentHANNIBAL, Mo. — An apparent medical condition was the cause of a one vehicle accident in Marion County Wednesday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Richard Gillum, 58, of Hannibal, was northbound on US-61 Highway when he began to suffer from an unknown medical condition. Gillum’s vehicle traveled off the road, struck a guardrail and overturned.

Gillum was transported by Marion County Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
