An incident in Malta Bend on Thursday prompted law enforcement officials to track down two juveniles in regards to accusations of harassment.  According to a report released by the Saline County Sheriff’s department, the two young men were driving through Lumback Park when the passenger allegedly yelled sexual obscenities at two young girls, ages 11 and 13.  The girls reported the incident to their parents who, in turn, contacted law enforcement.  Based on the victims’ description, officers were able to locate the vehicle, as well as the driver and passenger.  Both men have provided statements to the Sheriff’s Department and the case has been sent to the Saline County Prosecutor’s office for review.
