LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Mo. — The Missouri Highway Patrol says a Hardin driver was not wearing his seat belt when his vehicle overturned in Lafayette County Thursday.

The one vehicle crash took place around 5:10 p.m. Thursday on Highway 13, just over a half mile south of Garrison Road.

The northbound vehicle driven by 22-year-old Dustin Saner crossed the center line, then skidded off the right side of the road as a result of Saner over-correcting.

Saner received moderate injuries when the vehicle struck a ditch and overturned. He was treated at North Kansas City Hospital.
