UPDATE: (1 a.m.; 05/31) – A crash report indicates the crash occurred near Todds Chapel Road, west of Richmond. A vehicle driven by David W. Hayes, 57, of Excelsior Springs, began sliding traveling westbound. After an over-correction, the vehicle crossed the center line and struck a second vehicle driven by Patrick W. Jones, 19, of Orrick.
Hayes and Jones received moderate and serious injuries, respectively and were taken to Liberty Hospital. A passenger, Veronica Hayes, was taken to KU Medical Center with serious injuries.
UPDATE (05/30/16; 6:31 p.m.): The Missouri State Highway Patrol has confirmed the accident has been cleared. Three people were reportedly involved in the crash, but extent of injuries is unknown at this time.
KMZU has received word of a head on collision on 10 Highway in Ray County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol has confirmed the accident, located west of the Rayville turnoff. The Patrol has also confirmed that it is an injury crash. Authorities are en route to the scene. Please use caution if traveling in the area.
