SEDALIA, MO – Healthy U, a health and wellness initiative, invites the community to participate in a Zumba class as part of its Moving 101 monthly series of activities.

The free program will start at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August15, at St. Paul’s Lutheran School Gym, 701 S. Massachusetts Ave. Zumba is an hour-long upbeat, aerobic dance class. Kids Zumba will also be available for children ages 3 to 12.

Moving 101 is an opportunity for community members to come together and engage in a physical activity. Other upcoming Moving 101 events include: Sept. 19, mini family fitness challenge, Katy Park; Oct. 17, circuit workout, place to be announced.

Healthy U is a project of the Healthy Living Action Group, which includes Bothwell Regional Health Center, Katy Trail Community Health, Pettis County Health Center, Boys and Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri, and University of Missouri Extension.
