LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mo. – A preliminary hearing setting for a Chillicothe teen charged as an adult has been put off until mid-May.
Matthew R. Miller, 16, was charged in February, with felony Assault in the First Degree, attempting serious physical injury. Court documents say Miller and another boy, turned over to juvenile authorities, choked another juvenile with a rope, attempted to stab him and struck him with a rock. At yesterday mornings hearing,
the preliminary hearing setting was scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16.
