SALINE COUNTY, Mo. — Bond was posted Wednesday and a preliminary hearing is scheduled Friday for a Marshall man accused of second degree murder.
According to court records, $250,000 cash bond was posted this week for James Scott Miller.
A $500,000 bond was paid January 2 to grant his release. Investigators later revoked bond placed Miller back into custody after discovering Miller was in violations of bond conditions.
Miller allegedly killed Joshua Charles Smith at a residence on Viking Lane in Marshall on December 29, 2018.
Miller faces a preliminary hearing at 9:00 a.m. Friday in Saline County.
