A preliminary hearing is being held Wednesday morning for a Norborne man accused of second degree domestic assault and endangering the welfare of a child.  According to court documents, Chase Milligan, 20, allegedly hit his live-in girlfriend in the head with a lamp during an altercation.  Milligan’s hearing starts at 9:00 a.m. in Carroll County.

A De Witt man is also expected to go before a judge Wednesday morning in Carroll County.  Arthur Baxley Junior, 31, was arrested earlier this month after police say he went to a woman’s home with a tazer and threatened to kill her.  He’s also accused of terrorizing her for about five hours.  Baxley has been charged with two counts of kidnapping, armed criminal action, and second-degree domestic assault.  He is being held on a $75,000 bond.

In Lafayette County, one of the two people suspected of fleeing from the highway patrol last month has a preliminary hearing at 9:00 a.m.  Jessie Carter,  38, of Raytown, has been charged with unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, tampering with a motor vehicle, and resisiting arrest.  He was taken into custody on a $50,000 bond.

A Lexington woman charged with driving while intoxicated, endangering the welfare of a child, and careless and imprudent driving will be in court. Robyn Michael’s hearing is at 9:00 a.m in Lafayette County.
