Cindy Van Dyke, secretary at Hedrick Medical Center, was honored as the hospital’s Employee of the Quarter for fourth quarter 2011. Matt Wenzel, Hedrick Medical Center CEO, presented the award to Van Dyke at a reception held in her honor on Dec. 19.

In her nomination form, Van Dyke is described as “always having a warm smile and positive attitude when assisting patients. She goes above and beyond in her duties in order to assist co-workers.”

In recognition of the award, Van Dyke received an Employee of the Quarter certificate, eight hours of paid time off, the parking space of her choice for the quarter, lunch with her department, and the choice of a jacket or polo shirt with the Hedrick Medical Center logo.
