RANDOLPH COUNTY, Mo. — A woman was arrested Wednesday on allegations of possession of drugs and a firearm in Randolph County.
According to a news release from the Moberly Police Department, officers conducted a traffic stop just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday near Myra and Hinkley Streets in Moberly.
During the stop, an investigator allegedly smelled marijuana and conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle. Officers reportedly recovered six grams of heroin packaged for distribution, small amounts of meth and marijuana, a handgun and a number of items of drug paraphernalia.
The woman, who was not identified in the release, was taken to the Randolph County Jail where she is held on $20,000 cash or surety bound. She later posted bond and was released.
Formal charges will be sent to the Randolph County prosecuting attorney for consideration.
