May will be another busy month for the city of Higginsville. The Board of Aldermen is holding a meeting this evening Monday at the City Hall during which several items will be discussed. The agenda consists of two ordinances pertaining to the 2013 street improvement program. The first bill deals with the cold milling portion of the bids and the second deals with the asphalt overlay portion of the work. Board approval will be discussed for several elected officials as well, such as Fire Department officers and a Mayor Pro-tem. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
