UPDATE: 3/10/17 8 p.m.A sentencing hearing pronounced a judgement of 18 years in Department of Corrections for the charge of domestic assault.  Seven counts of  child endangerment garnered seven years for each charge.  The sentences will run concurrently.

UPDATE: (03/05/17) 9:50 a.m. — Haynes will appear for  sentencing at 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Lafayette County Circuit Court in Lexington.

UPDATE: (01/22/17) 9:05 a.m. — Nathan Haynes, 31, pleaded guilty January 17, 2017 for seven counts of endangering the welfare of a child, one count of domestic assault in the first degree and one count of armed criminal action.  A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for March 6, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in Lexington.

(UPDATE 01/03/17 7:40 a.m.)Nathan Haynes, 31, of Higginsiville, appeared in Lafayette County Courthouse for a motion hearing on Monday, December 19, 2016. Motion for hearing was withdrawn by the state prosecutor and a pre-trial conference has been scheduled.

In April of 2016, Haynes was arrested and charged with one count of domestic assault in the first degree, one count of armed criminal action and seven counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Haynes is scheduled for a pre-trial conference on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at 3:00 p.m., at the Lafayette County Courthouse.

Nathan Haynes, 31, was arrested and charged with one count of domestic assault in the first degree, one count of armed criminal action and seven counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

According to a probable cause statement, Haynes was in an argument with his brother when he pulled out a weapon and fired. Seven children were playing on a trampoline approximately 55 feet away during the time of the shooting.

A motion hearing is scheduled for Monday, December 19, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in the Lafayette County Courthouse.
