A KCP&L Contract Worker fell from a helicopter Tuesday morning as it was approximately 89 feet in the air, is reportedly in stable condition. His identity has not yet been released and it’s not known how severe his injuries are.
At 12:15 p.m. Tuesday reports came in saying the patient had been air lifted to an unknown area hospital. Reports put the incident about a half mile off of Route BB to the west and north of 220th Road on 225th Trail. The call for emergency assistance went out about 11 a.m.
KMZU is awaiting comment from the Marshall Fire Department. Crews were dispatched from there and other surrounding communities who assisted.
