The windy conditions have the potential to cause problems Sunday evening. The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for much of the listening area.

A powerful cold front is pushing into the area, bringing sustained winds between 25 and 35 miles per hour with it, and gusts of up to 50 miles per hour. Some burn bans have been enacted, including one from the Lawson Fire Department.

The National Weather Service warns that the windy conditions could make driving difficult. They also encourage people to secure their trash cans and other loose outdoor objects. The advisory remains in effect from 7:00 Sunday night until 4:00 Monday morning.
