UPDATE: 4:40 p.m.-Online crash reports have indicated this accident did have 1 fatality and multiple with moderate and serious injuries. According to the report the accident happened as Crystal Streiler, 37, and her 5 passengers were eastbound on MO-210 at Egypt Road near Orrick as Carey Jones, 40, was westbound. Jones’ vehicle crossed the center line and struck vehicle 2 head on. Jones was the only person in his vehicle and was transported by ambulance to Truman Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. Streiler was taken to Liberty hospital for treatment of serious injuries as well.
Streilers’ passengers include: Johnny Rivera, 18, who sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Centerpoint Medical Center. Yusnier Licor, 29, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Liberty Hospital. Rafael Gonzales, 20, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to North Kansas City Hospital. Dameyell Deshanzo, 20, sustained moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to North Kansas City Hospital. Rachel Bailey, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Arrest reports show Jones now faces a felony charge of manslaughter.
A 3rd vehicle driven by Jordan Waters, 21, was involved after the original accident. Waters was unable to see the accident and drove into the existing crash. He did not report any injury.

A KMZU Listener called to advise us that Highway 210 West of Orrick is expected to be closed for several hours due to an accident. The accident was reported around 1:16 a.m. this morning and involved seven patients. Emergency personnel are asking drivers to find an alternative route to get around the accident scene.
