Update (4-19-16 at 3:55 p.m.): Emergency crews have cleared the scene and both lanes are open. The driver has still not been identified. 


CARROLL COUNTY, Mo. – A one vehicle accident was reported by a KMZU listener at approximately 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2016.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Holly Hayes, 32,  was travelling westbond on US 24, just west of MO 139 when her 2002 Dodge Stratus travelled off the right side of the roadway, she overcorrected and travelled off the left side of the roadway, hit the ditch and overturned.


Hayes was transported to Carroll County Memorial Hospital  by ambulance, then life flighted to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries.
