DAVIESS COUNTY, Mo. – Two Gallatin residents received minor injuries and a Kansas man is facing charges after a rear end crash in Daviess County yesterday evening.

The Missouri Highway Patrol was dispatched to a report of a car off the East side of northbound Interstate 35, about four miles North of Winston. The crash report says a car driven by Danny Engle, 44, of Gallatin was struck in the rear by a Chevrolet Suburban around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening. Engles and his passenger, Katherine Engle, 34, were injured when the car slid off the roadway.

The SUV left the scene by authorities later located  Edgar D. Jaime, 32, of McPherson, Ks., and held him for driving while intoxicated with physical injury, leaving the scene of a crash, careless driving, no license and littering.
