JOHNSON COUNTY, Mo. — A Holden resident was injured after a crash in Johnson County this morning.

According to a crash report, 27 year old Whitney Palmer of Holden was Southbound on Route Z at 8:33 this morning when she fell asleep. The vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a culvert. The vehicle became airborne and struck the ground coming to rest in a private driveway.

Palmer was transported to the Lee’s Summit Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
