JOHNSON COUNTY, Mo. — A Holden resident was killed in a fatal one-vehicle accident Saturday night in Johnson County.
Michel Evans, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:49 p.m. Saturday night, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.
According to a corresponding crash report, Evans was travelling southbound on MO-131 Highway — south of NW 100th Rd. — at roughly 10:42 p.m. when his vehicle travelled off the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned.
It is unknown if Evans was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
