Sara Seidel

The Holiday Brass Ensemble will return to the Farris Theatre next week for a holiday performance.  Seidel said those attending are in for a musical treat.  “They present a nice, fun variety of music,” said Seidel, “They present traditional Christmas music and then they turn it around and they’ll even to do sing alongs.”

One of the  members performing has roots in the community.  “I want to say he’s a minor celebrity, but he’s almost a major celebrity,” said Seidel, “His name is Steve Seward and he and his family have been musicians and his parents were teachers who taught in many school districts.  Steve was a tubist here in Richmond and we claim him as our own.”

The Holiday Brass Ensemble will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, December 8th.  Tickets are $14 in advance and $15 at the door.  Reserved seats are available now by visiting the box office at 314 W. Main in Richmond or by calling the theatre at 816-776-6684 or visiting the Farris Theatre website.
