CHARITON COUNTY, Mo. — A homeless man facing child sex charges in Chariton County pleaded not guilty on Tuesday.
Bond has been set for $20,000 and Powell is still in custody at the Chariton County Jail.
According to online court documents, 22-year-old Christopher Michael Powell, of Keytesville faces one felony count each of child molestation in the fourth degree with a child less than 17 and older than 4 as well as enticement or attempted enticement of a child.
Powell will return to the Chariton County Court on July 25 at 1:30 p.m. for a hearing.
