The University of Missouri Hundley Whaley Research Center in Albany will be host their annual field day this week. Click to hear KMZU’s Chelsea Wade talk to superintendent Bruce Burdick:
“Some of the topics on the agenda for the day include dicamba resistant soybeans and how to control some of the resistant water hemp that’s out there,”said Burdick,”We will also have an excellent in-field demonstration with the Missouri land contractors. We will be installing a drainage, irrigation, and tiling system. So, I think that will be a hands-on type thing that will be good for people to see, as well as a number of other topics.”
The free event is scheduled for Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to noon. More information can be found at http://aes.missouri.edu/hundwhal/.
